Loop revitalization subject of Nov. 8 dialogue

The Office of the Provost has launched an online portal, diversity.wustl.edu, as the focal point for all diversity and inclusion initiatives on campus. The site has a comprehensive list of resources and programs.

The WUSTL community recently honored David M. Becker, JD, associate dean for external relations and the Joseph H. Zumbalen Professor Emeritus of the Law of Property, on his 50th year of teaching.

$4.6 million helps train occupational, physical therapists

?The Program in Physical Therapy at the School of Medicine has received a five-year, $4.6 million grant to continue an interdisciplinary training program for occupational and physical therapists that began in 2007. Michael J. Mueller, PhD, is principal investigator of the WUSTL-based, multi-center grant.

Obit: Sandra Brennan, 73, assistant to dean
of Sam Fox School

Sandra Brennan, longtime assistant to the dean of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, died at her home in Webster Groves Monday, Oct. 29, following a long illness. She was 73.

Football wins at Case, claims share of UAA Championship

The football team limited Case Western Reserve University to 184 yards of total offense in a 10-7 victory Nov. 3. With the win, WUSTL secured a share of its ninth University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship in school history and its first since 2004. WUSTL wraps up regular season play with a road game Saturday, Nov. 10, at the University of Chicago. A win would clinch the outright UAA title for the Bears.
